The Pomodoro method is a time management technique developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. This method uses a timer and divides the task for a set of intervals usually 25 minutes, separated by short time intervals. Cirillo was using a tomato shaped kitchen timer with fellow students, so each interval was called pomodoro, which means tomato in Italian. his method has been widely popularized among professionals now.
The main goal of this technique is to reduce any interruption while you work on a task and focus on what you do. You just need to focus on the tasks that you do by using following steps-
It increases your productivity. In today’s era such tools are very helpful for focusing on what you are doing, because every 2 minutes we check our phones to see if we missed something. A standard rule of the Pomodoro method is that once you start a timer, then you need to focus till it rings. If you finish the work very early before it rings, you can do revisions and learn other things.
